Heavy Delta - Order Blocks
In Heavy Delta, an Order Block is a price zone derived from prior price and volume behavior. It marks an area where the market previously moved with enough force to make a later revisit worth watching.
The box does not prove that an institution placed orders there, and it does not guarantee a reaction. Its value is practical: it gives you a defined area in which to observe whether buyers or sellers return.

Why Are Order Blocks Important?
When price revisits an Order Block, watch the response rather than assuming the box will hold:
- A rejection from the edge can show that the area still matters.
- Acceptance and repeated closes inside the box suggest a less decisive market.
- A clean move through the box weakens its usefulness as support or resistance.
Order Blocks formed around a clear expansion or a major swing are generally easier to interpret than boxes created inside noisy consolidation.
Order Blocks that appear alongside a clear volume expansion are usually easier to interpret. On a revisit, watch whether volume supports the reaction.
Configuring Order Blocks
ZenAlgo allows you to customize Order Block settings to fit your trading style, enhancing how you identify these zones on the chart.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Show Order Block Labels | Toggles the display of Order Block labels to help easily identify key levels. |
| Maximum Number of Labels | Limits the number of labels displayed, keeping your chart clear and uncluttered. |
| Label Offset | Adjusts label positioning, useful for aligning labels with other indicators on the chart. |
| Order Block Borders Color | Sets the color for Order Block borders, making important levels stand out visually. |
To reduce chart clutter, limit the Maximum Number of Labels or adjust Label Offset to keep labels from overlapping.
Practical Uses of Order Blocks
Use an Order Block to define where an idea becomes interesting and where it becomes invalid. A nearby opposite block can also serve as a logical area to reassess or take profit. The actual decision should come from price behavior inside the zone and from the broader Heavy Delta context.
